"This hotel was so comfortable and felt like home away from home. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and took their time with us. The young man took his time showing us wonderful places in the nearby area on a map (which became a lovely souvenir!), invited us into the bar to watch the World Cup final, and the next morning welcomed us to breakfast even though we arrived a bit late. It felt like this was one big family running a fine-tuned bed and breakfast. An absolutely wonderful experience and we are very grateful we chose this hotel! Thank you!"
"The hotel was above excelent with one exception: no lift. The room was down three levels, and we had five heavy pieces. There were no carts to move the luggage along one level. People were struggling to get up mutiple sets of stairs. One set, in the breakfast area, was hard to climb with a plate or a cup.
If the hotel installs a lift, I would be happy to give C,onnemara Coast Hotel my ringing endorsement."
"Exquisite property from top to bottom… only caveat is we stayed in the summer and missed centralized air (our room did not catch the delicious breezes from the bay other areas of the house did.) Staff was outstanding and breakfast delicious. We will be back…with a fan!"
Connemara Stone Barn on Wild Atlantic Way, walk to beach, near Aran Island Ferry
8/10 Good
"Lovely restored stone cottage with private garden. Welcoming hosts living at the farmhouse next door who gave us advice for our stay. Great location for a trip to Inis Mohr either by ferry or plane. Handy supermarket about 5 minutes’ drive. A beautiful part of the world. Appreciated the welcome lemon drizzle cake. Only thing would say is that some of the kitchen cooking and eating equipment could do with an update."
