Positives, Clean sheets, towels. Clean bathroom. Negatives, room needs paint badly, room smelled musty and old, lock and screen to balcony need replacing, rug is very old and smells. Suggestions, as the owners may be new. They are trying, and it shows. Rooms definitely need updates to make this a higher rated property. Breakfast was fine. No complaints.

The room was filthy. Mirrors were not clean. Sinks, and counters were disgusting, I had old gum on my nightstand. The latch to keep you safe inside your room was busted off and not replaced, cracks in the floors full of hair and dirt, splatters on the wall, bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on a box spring. Place was absolutely disgusting.

My gripe is more with Expedia than the hotel. My friend and I booked at the same exact time to make sure we both got a room. Her room was $203 mine $225 for exact same room. I was good. The rooms were very large and extremely clean. The only thing I was disappointed that the pool was not open. Still had work to be done. I think it would be nice for Expedia to update things like this. Otherwise I would’ve stayed somewhere with a pool being that it was so so hot

The room was very dirty. The bed look like it was used bedsheets with stains in it. There is hair in the tub the walls were filthy the trim needed a paint job very bad and it was disgusting the lock on the door I was broken luckily there was a deadbolt. I felt like I was staying in the Bates motel. I certainly would never stay here again.

Easy check in and accommodating staff. I could park right at my door. Room was basic but clean and the bed comfy. Fairbanks Inn was perfect for a stopover night after a long day of driving.
