This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable.

We rented the family cabin. It had everything we needed for a family of 4 with two teens. The beds were super comfortable, there was a full kitchen with just about everything you need for cooking, as well as a grill and picnic table, and even a washing machine, which was great to have. The air conditioning worked great and was quiet which was a major plus given it was over 100 degrees F for several days. The pool was clean and well maintained, and there was a tennis court and ping pong table...

This is a nice, clean, well-maintained hotel in a wonderful town to use as a base for exploring the Southern Rhone region. The hotel has extensive grounds with two pools and multiple patios and sitting areas. Breakfasts are good, and the dinners are great while being reasonably priced. St. Remy itself is a great town to explore and the hotel is less than a ten-minute walk from the village center. Parking is easy, which was important because we had a rental car for day trips to Nimes, Pont du...

The grounds and surrounding view are distinguishing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was serene and well appointed. Breakfast was superb, but dinner service was slow. Coquillade lives up to Relais & Chateau’s reputation. This was my second visit from the US to the hotel. and I’d happily return.

Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. Sandine arranged for a driver to pick us up at the train station the night we arrived and to take us to the train station on the day we left. The daily housekeeping was excellent, including clean towels. The hotel is very reasonably priced, perhaps because it is located in an...

Estelle and her staff were super friendly. Her hard work has paid off...she has made this a paradise retreat in Provence. It was perfect to relax on the last day of vacation in the beautiful gardens and pool. The rooms were very large, well decorated, and the bed very comfortable. Thank you so much Estelle.
