    We welcome you to the little Mas d‘Oscar!

    18th century farmhouse, located in the center of this magnificent village in Provence, rich with its cafes and busy terraces, museums and art galleries, restaurants and shops.
    You will appreciate the calm of this town house. Completely renovated and rented from May 2018, this 75m2 house includes:

    A very comfortable living room with its open fireplace for your winter evenings by the fireplace.

    To take advantage of the good weather, the living room has direct access to the south-facing terrace of 30 m2 and an 80m2 garden, a small corner ideal for taking a break on the comfortable deckchairs and enjoying the sun or the stars! A barbecue, a large table and a large parasol are at your disposal.

    The dining kitchen is fully equipped.

    A laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as a separate toilet are also on the ground floor.

    Upstairs, two master suites with new, high-quality bedding, the bedrooms are air-conditioned and each has its own bathroom and toilet.
    A first bedroom offers a 180 cm King size bed and the second a 160 cm Queen size bed separable into 2 small beds, if children.
    These 2 bedrooms will charm you with their high ceilings.
    High quality sheets and towels will be provided.

    Private parking adjacent to the property is also available.

    Ideal for families, friends or couples looking for a city with a friendly atmosphere and with convenient access to outdoor activities such as tennis, golf, fishing, horse riding, gliding , as well as a peaceful and comfortable place to relax.

Les Baux de Provence and their remarkable sites are 10 'away, the Saints Marie de la Mer and its beaches at 60', the Camargue regional park at 30 ', Arles and its museums at 20', Aix en Provence at 45 ', the Lubéron park at 25 ', the Pont du Gard at 45'.

The house was delightful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having A/C throughout was particularly helpful in the hot Provencal summer, although we enjoyed having our meals in the sunny courtyard. There is a supermarket and specialty food store just steps away, and downtown St Remy, with loads of boutiques and restaurants just a few steps more. It is also centrally located for all the beautiful countryside and ancient towns of Provence. Thank you, Genevieve, for sharing your lovely home with us - we will definitely book with you again for our next Provencal trip!

Could not have been better!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mas d’Oscar. The property is just as depicted, with everything that we needed at hand. The location was perfect-it was less than 5 minutes walk into town and about a minute to the grocery store. It was good to know that our host Genevieve was available and just a message away in case we had any questions or problems. She met us at the property then we first arrived, which was great. I nightly recommend this property!

Great place

This is the place to stay in St. Remy. Location is perfect, walk to all shops, restaurant's, close grocery store and gourmet food store. Don't miss the Wednesday's market, one of the best in France! House is well appointed, good kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable beds and updated bathrooms with walk in showers. Outdoor area has barbeque, chairs and table and lounges. An olive tree, lavender bush and cypress tree complete the space(so Provence). Genevieve is a most accommodating host. Anything you need just text her and she answer immediately to help. Would definitely stay here again.

First class all the way

Property is exactly as described - very comfortable for 4 adults. Fantastic location, beautiful/charming property, wonderful host who lives locally, is very responsive and puts the quality of the stay of her guests as her highest priority. Everything is first class - for example comfortable beds and pillows, top quality bedding. Very close to all amenities, quick walk to dozens of restaurants, supermarket within 2 minutes walk. Very quiet location. I would very highly recommend. Well done, Genevieve, and a very big thank you. We will be back next year!

A country cottage on the edge of Saint-Remy

The good: this is a well-managed and nicely appointed place to stay from where everything in Vieux Saint-Remy is within an easy walk and parking is right by the front door. Everything expected was there and it all worked as expected. The beds were comfortable, the linens crisp and clean and we were each able to find a favourite pillow. The not so good: the bedroom windows would be better with some curtains. One bedroom has shutters which are not very convenient to use but the other has zip with about as much privacy. Neither of the bathrooms have screens or curtains on the shower stalls so any enthusiastic showering will saturate the bathroom floors.

Lovely home in a lovely town

We stayed 4 days in Genevieve’s sweet townhome. She personally met us at the house to check us in and made sure we had everything we needed. The house has 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen which were wonderfully spacious after staying in French hotel rooms. Note that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep for those who may have difficulty with stairs. Be sure to bring your own toiletries, but if you don’t, there is a nice market/grocery store just steps away, It’s only about 2 blocks to the historic town of St. Remy, where there are many very good restaurants and shopping. We loved walking through the beautiful winding streets of the old town and relaxing in the green, tree-lined squares. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect spot as a base for visiting the area

I cannot say enough glorious things about our stay. We were visiting Provence, a group of three girls and it was the perfect home base to get out all over the area. The home is immaculate and within steps of the grocery and a fine food store. We had fresh bread, wines, cheeses every evening. There is a tourist office just across the street with loads of information on what to do in the area. St Remy itself is the most wonderful little village. The locals are very friendly and charming. I highly recommend visiting the sanitarium where Van Gogh stayed for a year of his life and it’s a very short drive from this home. You could even walk if you shoes. There are ancient ruins very close by as well. The home itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. You have everything you could possibly need and we felt very safe and comfortable there. There is a parking spot for a car and it’s a quiet area and close to town. We would walk into the village for meals and ice cream. The host was so sweet and friendly and was prompt and checked us in quickly and efficiently. If we are ever back, we will definitely stay again!

St Remy Cottage

This is a lovely, small, French cottage-like home which is just a few blocks from the center of town. We were easily able to walk to restaurants, shops and points of interest. Especially fun is the Wednesday market which consumes the town. There was also a grocery store two blocks away. St. Remy is a beautiful town and this was our second stay at this house When we arrived there were some problems with the internet and one of the showers not draining. Genevieve responded quickly and arranged for someone to fix the internet. She took care of the shower!! Since we were last there, four years ago, we expected there might be a few upgrades. Each bedroom has a bathroom, which is great. But neither bathroom has a door! The living room has two very, very low and deep couches which didn’t provide comfort after a long day of touring. Finally an easy upgrade would be the replacement of all the chipped coffee cups and several of the wine glasses. Great location in a perfect place that needs a few upgrades.

Fantastic home-away-from-home in St. Remy!

The property is located in the center of St. Remy, steps away from the Visitor's Center, incredible playground for the kids, as well as a grocery store (Utile), gourmet food store with delicious prepared foods (Chez Karen), and a fresh fish market. Another block away takes you to the heart of the outdoor markets, restaurants, and boutiques! This location was also down the road from the St. Paul de Mausole Asylum and Glanum, the ancient Roman ruins. We spent 3 weeks at Mas d'Oscar and loved every minute. It was an incredible home base to travel to all of the surrounding villages and towns. We traveled to Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la Sorgue, Cavaillon, Eyguieres, Gordes, Eygalieres, Ogdon, roussillon, Lacoste, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Aix, Tarascon, Nimes, Uzes, Arles, Les Baux, Apt, Pont du Gard, Miramas-le-Vieux, and Marseille. So much to see and do, but don't miss St. Remy's evening artisan's market on Tuesday evenings and their weekly outdoor market on Wednesday mornings. Beautiful home and town, perfect for your Provence vacation. House is perfectly equipped with everything you need with super-comfy beds. Beautiful outdoor space for meals or relaxing. AC works well for those hot days, and there is a great little washer and dryer. Be aware that the steps to upstairs are quite steep and that there are no doors separating the bedrooms from their ensuites, so little privacy! :)

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay! It was spotless, well appointed, and the location was spectacular! Geneviève was incredibly responsive and even came out to show us the house when we (unfortunately) arrived at 1:00 a.m. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The location was literally 3 min walk to town yet no t in the middle of it.
