We stayed at this resort from Sunday through Thursday in January, and the weather was absolutely wonderful. Coming from winter in Pennsylvania, the 80-degree temperatures were amazing and much appreciated. I booked our stay through Expedia as a package deal, and the checkout time was listed as 11:00 a.m. However, the resort’s actual checkout policy is 10:00 a.m., and they charge $75 per hour for any time stayed past checkout. This was contrary to what was posted on Expedia and was not clearly communicated. Upon arrival, the front desk staff seemed very short in their interactions. I didn’t take it personally and assumed it was due to being busy. Our room, however, was clean and a great size for a couple. The pool was decent and not crowded with children, which was a plus for us. The bartenders were kind, engaging, and very attentive—definitely a highlight of our stay. There are cats walking around the property, which didn’t bother us at all (I’m a cat lover). Transportation via taxi can be quite expensive, and some drivers seem to make up their own prices, making it feel like a very lucrative business in the area. Pueblo Supermarket nearby is convenient, but if you’re looking for cheaper liquor, the gas station next to the market had prices about $20 less than the resort or the supermarket. Be aware, though, that food overall is expensive. At checkout, the reception staff were unfortunately very rude, with noticeable attitude and a lack of hospitality.

Everyone in the eating areas were awesome. Especially the swimming pool bar! The people working the gift shop were nice and very helpful! Botj shifts! Alsoo the young man who got us taxis! Whoever cleaned our room was good! Ty

When we arrived they said they had NO reservation for us. They were not helpful, very rude and had no compassion that we had traveled all day and now had nowhere to stay. So I had to book a night at hotel in an unsafe area because there was no hotels avaliable. So I decided to call Bluebeards hotel again and ask what happen they finally found our reservation but said we were not to check in till next day and leave on Jan. 2nd Which was false and not what our confirmation said from expedia. Next day we arrived at the hotel front desk staff was extremely rude and took forever to give us a key to the room. I told them several times I paid for a room with ocean veiw and washer/dryer. After we arrived to our room it was NOT the room we paid for. I called the desk they said they had to give are room to the timeshare owners and We were Lucky that she found us a room. I have never been treated so bad in my life for somethings I paid for. So we had to stay in the down graded room. It was so frustrating!!

We immediately went to the balcony and found numerous baggies along with rolling papers on the ground. We had started our day since 230 am, so we ignored that, I took pictures, we also noticed the curtains to the slider glass door to the balcony, half were hanging off. I did call the front office about the baggies on the ground. We went to get a shower, NO water pressure, we stepped out into a puddle of water, someone on the wall, by the slider. Also went to the other side to charge my phone, where I found they had tucked the lamp shade in the corner where it was broken and bent, I took the towel and put it into the dryer and it started making a noise, I immediately open it to find the lint trap and came out and was tangled in my suite which is ruined, and towels. Not even a full 24 hours here, BUT next morning after checking in. I call them and tell them everything, thy said they would come and fix everything. NO ONE showed up that day or the following day day, they showed up with caulk, to fix the shower, this isn’t going to fix the shower, he did not have a ladder to put the curtain back into the slot, and NO one came and picked up the baggies.The final day they call and offer service. I leave at 830am, UMM no they should been here when I called. I removed all sheets and blankets and found a large urine stain where I had slept all week. Pictures of everything, I tell the lady at checkout she says why didn’t I tell anyone I DID she says sorry. Pictures/video of it all

The room was so clean and the views are so gorgeous. The stay was such a pleasure. Its not exactly close to all Amenities yet walkable witha tad bit of effort. So worth it.

Service was nice. The view from the room was excellent. Our room had a washer and dryer which was convenient for a 5 day + stay. Proximity to shopping and food was great. It's an older hotel but honestly if you plan to do a lot of excursions and want a comfortable place to sleep, it's a good choice. Make sure you get coffee, breakast sandwiches and other things in their store near the front desk. The staff is friendly. Also their restaurant food and drinks are very good. I will be booking with them again for certain trips.
