The place is decent. Good location. She’s very knowledgeable about the island & could answer any questions we had. The room was smaller than expected & didn’t look like the picture of the room online I thought I was getting but the patio was nice with a decent view. Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast. The orange juice tasted old. But none of this compares to the fact THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. I was not informed of this until after I checked in. As many times I was emailed to ask when I was arriving she FAILED to mention they didn’t have hot water. It was supposed to be fixed the afternoon we arrived & it wasn’t, it was supposed to be fixed the next day & it wasn’t. Most hotels will tell you prior to checking in “this is the issue we’re having, we want to inform you before checking in so you have the option to go elsewhere” we were not even given THAT much. We ended up only staying ONE night & leaving. It was my birthday trip & I ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to take another COLD shower. Now I’m struggling to get a refund like it was agreed upon from this hotel. They’re blaming Hotels.com & Hotels.com is blaming them for not responding to the emails that they’ve sent the hotel. I just want my moneyyyyyy backkkkkkk. never will I everrrr, ever againnnn! It’s been a very frustrating process. I’m sure they are tired of hearing from me just like I’m tired of emailing them bc I can’t seem to get anyone on the phone when I call the hotel.
