Room was clean and nicely decorated. Not much sound isolation through the door from the common hallway though. Restaurant has great food and drinks. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Very clean and magnificent golf course. Evening good was plentiful and delicious, as was the breakfast.

If you are interested in exploring Cornwall, this is a great location to do it from you are a short distance from the north and south coasts as well as the western end of the country. You have access to very good roads. On top of that, you will find yourself in a well appointed room being helped be an excellent staff. We’re vegetarians and we found very good meals.

Really nice and friendly hotel located in the heart of Bodmin. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is outstanding!

This was a very quaint hotel right in front of the harbor. We loved this property a lot as it reflected the way of life in a small fishing village. The breakfast there was very nice.

Amazing hotel, quality of the room was exceptional, we ate in the Chapel restaurant and found the food to be lovely. Would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel. Sadly we saw no ghosts.

What a quaint, little village in a beautiful locale. This newly renovated hotel is in the heart of Lostwithiel, just 1 mile from Restormel Castle. The rooms are beautiful and have modern amenities. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I always have a couple simple requests on my reservations and no one ever complies so I was startled when the woman at the front desk mentioned that they had provided my request. Fantastic breakfast buffet, quality ingredients, restaurant and bar...

What a fantastic hotel. I have walked past this hotel on holidays to Cornwall most of my life but this was the first time I actually stayed in a hotel in the local area. I am pleased I picked the Carlyon Bay Hotel. Not only does the hotel seem to beam old world charm, it is the epitome of a classy environment with staff that will do anything to make your stay more comfortable and are a pleasure to deal with. The local area is quiet but you are not coming to this hotel to party but relax...

This little gem was the best part of our two week adventure through Cornwall. The room was wonderful, the staff was amazing, the food was fantastic and the locals were friendly and welcoming. I would stay here time and time again!
