“one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year”

“Third visit, great stay. Keep up the good work. We will definitely be back. We'll located, dog frirndly.”

“If you want complete peace and quiet time to think and read, then this rural corner of Cornwall is for you. The cottage is very comfortable and the private grounds provide an easy short stroll by the river for us older ones. Appreciated the hosts kind hospitality of goodies on arrival, we’ve already booked again . Thank you.”

Location is excellent too, just minutes from Perranporth ( with pharmacy!) & a superb londis shop down the road at Goonhaven”

“Cross Cottage is cosy, comfortable & cleaned to a high standard highly recommended.”

Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good). Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west……
