The space below the cottage is storage for owners. Every time I thought of something it had it every time I wanted to see the ocean it was there. Every time I wanted to go someplace it was close. This VRBO was nicer than any hotel I've stayed in in or cottage or motel and I've been to pei very many times. The hosts were magnificent. They even came to clean the snow off the walk-in driveway. It's a 10 minute walk from the beach, with beach chairs and an umbrella provided. We enjoyed sitting on the two balconies and found it to be a good base for exploring Charlottetown and PEI National Park. The property overlooks the beach with a nice back deck, and inside the cozy living space and kitchen kept us comfortable during our stay. I would recommend Kathy and her cottage to anyone looking to visit. Minutes drive to the local golf course. The accommodations were clean and well appointed. I think it’s helpful to know when there are steps and the unit is on the second floor. The host made this very clear in the photos!
