"THE WORST PLACE EVER IN MY LIFE! In the morning I noticed that I got bitten by a bug. But I never knew what it was. I went back to my home and for few weeks I found my skin is so itchy, and I found the bed bugs. This ruined my weeks and it cost a lot to call the expert to disinfect everything at my house. "I stayed three nights with my two teenage daughters. Our experience was most positive in every way. The staff were very attentive and helpful to all our queries. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is good and reliable WiFi, and free parking in front of hotel was a bonus. We paid for breakfast which was varied and ample. I can safely recommend the hotel to all, and we would definitely stay there again when we next return to Tatry mountains."

"I was surprised this hotel was not full during our stay. It seemed a great value to me, and the decor featuring extensive wood carving was impressive. Of course we were there during the shoulder season in mid September so that may explain fewer guests. The room opened to the hotel back, so it was quiet. With the window open, you will hear the sounds of the nearby river, which helped me sleep. The room was clean and well-appointed, and the bed was good. The bathroom had a shower (no tub), with quality towels although I believe the towel warmer was not working, or maybe user error. The dinner menu included wild boar and deer cooked five different ways. Mine was excellent. Three of the four hotel staff we met spoke functional English and all were pleasant and helpful, especially “Yanni”. Motorcycle parking was safely behind the hotel and free. Overall, the hotel was a good value and quirky-unique. There is an astonishing trophy room, deer-antlered lighting, paintings, and displayed collections of butterflies and insects. Great attention to detail where animal motifs are concerned. I really liked it all. I would recommend the hotel leave more lights on. I am not used to corridor lighting on a timer where I have to find the switch in the dark at the top of the stairs. Other than that annoyance I recommend the hotel. "
