We have stayed at numerous different places, but 31 The Rocks is the place to stay.... easily. Close to town, ($12 cab fare), so you can go out for dinner, and return to your Villa easily, and cost effectively. The bed was comfortable, towels large and fluffy and the amenities comfortable and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the bush setting and took advantage of the trails on the property which afforded some beautiful views. Watching the sunset in the evening was a highlight. The only downside was the poor phone reception and the patchy internet, however we were advised about this prior to our visit. There is a lounge cabin a little distance from the other cabins where there is better reception. Communication was excellent. Thank you. Cabin was clean and the wood burning heater was toasty warm with plenty of firewood provided. The setting was very peaceful and we loved seeing the kangaroos out and about at dusk and dawn. Wifi was basically nonexistent and mobile data was patchy which was disappointing. Breakfast provisions weren’t plentiful but plenty of grocery stores in town. Breakfast items were just what we needed. They even demonstrated how to get the fire place started. The host couple was very willingly provided useful information about the area. Very cosy place. The unique walking tracks also built into the area take you up to an incredible lookout which is a must on a sunny clear day. You parked your car at the Accommodation you are staying at. Phone signal is ok. No Wifi in the cabins, which we wish we had. TV channels all worked well. A great location for each cabin, private and quiet. The accommodation cabins are excellent in size (we had a studio and is was huge). Reverse cycle aircon, if needed, also a wooden fire place for the cold nights. No wood at the cabin, but I didn't ask for any as it wasn't cold enough to light a fire.
