rustic cabin, old cabin smell. Wallpaper peeling off. I rented the cabin for 4 days/3 nights several months ahead. However, at check in we were informed we would have to change cabins half way thru our stay. no explanation other than ours was already booked for Saturday. No sorry for the inconvenience it's just the way Capital Management does things. We were required to return keys to the office and pick up new keys. Again, not sorry for interrupting our stay. The cabin we had to move to had chewed up bubblegum on the ledge of the hot tub. The air conditioning was broken. There is no lakefront at the Lodges. Just tall weeds and a long, unsteady dock to see the water. I wouldn't mind the old cabin smell if the management was decent. My recommendation is to stay elsewhere.

The place was beautiful and welcoming! However it was not clear that the standard rooms do not come with a fridge or microwave. That was INCREDIBLY inconvenient; please update this policy.
