Skip the condo crowds and hotels in this new 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bath Steinhatchee townhome walking distance to the boat ramp. As owners we proudly manage all 4 of our properties ourselves, and do our very best to give you much more than you expect at a price that is very affordable. If you take a moment to read some of our reviews, you will soon realize that we are very committed to making sure you have the best experience possible. We also have a brand new sleeper sofa with airdream mattress that will make you reconsider sleeper sofas, it is to die for. Heron's Nest is part of a very private 4 unit townhome site nestled into the trees on 1st Street w. We are the right half of the green townhome pictured, unit 205-b (kind of like a duplex) Location doesn't get any better, with the boat ramp, sunset point, and restaurants within walking distance. Walk over to Roy's waterfront restaurant and enjoy the sunset while having a nice dinner or check out the live music at Crabby Dads for a more lively atmosphere, and don't forget waterfront Hungry Howies for some Awesome pizza! No condo party noise to contend with at the townhome, just the birds and the breeze. The townhome has brand new furnishings accented with awesome artwork that are some of Steinhatchee's trademarks. Bedrooms are furnished with exquisite linens for a resort-like experience while on vacation. With 600 thread count linens and lush comforters, the hardest thing about vacation might be getting out of bed in the morning. This is not your ordinary Steinhatchee rental, and this rental is not intended for the party crowd. If you want a peaceful retreat that is super convenient to the some of the best fishing and scalloping in the state, then you have found it at Heron's Nest. Included in the rental are some specifics of what to do while on vacation including GPS #'s for fishing inshore/offshore, private beach picnic spots, the best kayaking locations, where to find sand dollars, and of course the best scallop locations. Sea Hag Marina is less than a mile away for all your fishing and scalloping needs including air fills for divers and boat rentals if you find yourself without a boat. Maddies Market is also a mile away for grocery items, and Ace Hardware 1.5 miles away for any last minute needs. Drop a kayak in right at the ramp and enjoy a peaceful paddle on the river, or River Haven will shuttle you up to Steinhatchee falls and kayak down river for a couple of hours of connecting with Old Florida. Head over to Dallus creek or Rocky creek and launch a skinny water boat in search of redfish, trout and flounder. The house is close to the marina, and restaurants, We were a little worried about any residuals from Helene and believe me looking around Steinhatchee there is plenty but when in the house you would never know. When we arrived there were flowers a bottle of Champagne and chocolates for our anniversary the kitchen is fully stocked including some snacks. Did you forget your toothbrush? No problem they thought of everything. The bathrooms are stocked with most necessities. We have used VRBO many times for different cities but this one stood out above the rest.
