  • Hello and welcome to Shellrock Cabin, part of the Nelson Creek Cabin vacation rentals! Our cozy cabins are nestled on 2 quiet acres with views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. Plenty of parking for boats and RV's. Shellrock cabin is a cozy and comfortable place where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting. Within a few miles, you will find golf courses, brew pubs, restaurants, farmer's markets, shops, waterfalls, wineries, kite boarding, wind surfing, stand up paddling, sailing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and numerous other recreational adventures. Portland and its airport is a easy 45 minute drive. Enjoy the Columbia Gorge Interpretative Center, Maple Leaf Events, Blues and Bluegrass weekend festivals, Skamania County Fair, local parks, Beacon RockState Park, Maryhill, White Salmon, and Hood River Wineries.

The property was perfect for our weekend away. The best was the surprise free best tasting tray at a local brewery. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful little cabin. We definitely will be back.

Great stay - Check-in/communication was excellent, all facilities were clean, updated and in good working order. View was great - enjoyed meals on the porch looking at the Gorge. Conveniently located near Stevenson shops, etc., but still quiet. Definitely recommend.

Best rental I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful view and quiet. Super clean and everything you need right where you expect it do be. I really appreciated the real furniture!! Study and super comfortable bed, nice couch, high quality pillows on the bed. So many rentals buy the cheapest uncomfortable stuff on Amazon and that was not the case here. Amazing place!

Beautiful modern cabin with stunning view from a gorgeous veranda. Everything we needed was provided plus extras like water and treats in the fridge. We loved our stay.
