Stia Vacation Packages
Stia is located some 140 miles (225 kilometers) from Rome, the capital of Italy, and about 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Florence.
From perennial tourist favourites to lesser known delights, Tuscany is wonderfully endowed with natural and cultural attractions. If you're on the lookout for more things to see and do, check out the Abbazia di Vallombrosa and Fashion Valley in the vicinity of Reggello, which lays 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the northeast of Stia.
Organize some transportation and spend some time in Fiesole, a retail and transport hub for the region, located about 20 miles (32 kilometers) from Stia. This bigger city has plenty of attractions, including Villa Medici, Villa Le Balze and San Francesco Monastery. Cathedral of Fiesole and Teatro Romano are a number of other places worth checking out for those who have time to spare.
Visit Tuscany's craft workshops, palaces and nature museums. These are excellent spots to hang out, particularly on overcast or inclement days. To get a real sense of the present, it helps to learn a little local history. Tuscany's evocative historic bridges are a great place to start.
Feeling bold? Why not sign up for a completely different experience while you are in Tuscany. Go paragliding; it's an experience to remember. When the weather is fine, head to the region's much-loved waterways for a morning of canoeing or boating.
When it is time to depart from Stia, spend the last of your euros on last minute keepsakes for the folks at home and bid a fond Ciao (farewell).
