Na een warm welkom door de host voelden wij ons meteen thuis. Het huisje is precies zoals op de foto’s, en is superschoon en netjes en vooral gezellig. De inventaris is compleet, je zult alleen zelf de afwas moeten doen want een vaatwasser is er niet. Wij vonden dit geen enkel probleem. De omgeving van Finningham is prachtig. Wij kennen deze streek al redelijk goed, maar hebben toch weer nieuwe parels van Suffolk kunnen ontdekken. Ook dankzij eigenaar Tony, die ook gids is op Euston Hall. Wij hebben in ieder geval genoten van ons korte verblijf.

Tony & Aileen are the perfect hosts and the accommodation truly feels like a home-away-from-home. All the necessities (and more) for catering for oneself are provided. You feel welcome the moment you meet Tony and step inside the cottage and find a lovely welcome card along with complimentary wine, milk, tea, coffee etc. We appreciated the books/pamphlets which detail the local area and the handy book that explained how the cooker/hob/washing machine work. This couple really goes the extra mile to make guests comfortable and happy! This was a wonderful start to our holiday and we recommend the Chapel Annexe wholeheartedly.

Picture book cottage

Just a two night break to visit the area and catch up with old friends. The annexe to the Old Chapel was delightful - clean and neat and comfortable and our hosts Tony & Aileen Kilbee were friendly and helpful. The cottage is full of paintings done by Aileen which were a lovely touch.

Suffolk stay

A delightful stay which was enhanced by lovely weather. We were met by Tony and shown around our accommodation. Lovely welcome Pack provided and great base for us to stay in to visit family and surrounding area. We would recommend to other guests.

Nice stay for 2 nights

Overall it was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. The welcome gifts and essentials of bread and milk being in the property for you is just lovely. It was a little out of the village than I realised when first booked but was okay except the road noise from cars as road at front is quite busy thankfully at night much better. Only downside was the oven it really needs to be cleaned.

A real gem

Great host. Easy to feel nd and handy location for Norfolk and Suffolk. Apartment spotlessly clean, cosy and had everything 2 people need for a comfortable stay. Quiet location and very comfy bed meant we both slept better than we usually do when away.

Very comfortable stay

We arrived to a lovely welcome from Aileen. The cottage is very clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well equipped and lounge chairs are very comfortable. Bed ok and bathroom was very good with lots of hot water at good pressure. Tony was also an excellent host and we enjoyed sharing our interest of history with him. Definitely recommend this as a great place to stay

Lovely holiday home for couples

We were met by Tony and Aileen on arrival and shown around the property which was lovely and clean. They also left us a welcome pack and a few treats which were well received. The annexe itself is detached from the main property and there is a nice area for seating outside on the patio. The property was well equipped with very good quality cookware/towels/bedding etc to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They even provided shampoo, shower gel and handwash. The hosts are friendly and on hand if you need them but not at all intrusive. Overall, we had a really nice stay here and would definitely recommend it to other couples looking to stay in the area. Thanks Tony and Aileen and hope to see you again.

Delightful & relaxing stay

The property is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts, Tony and Aileen, are readily available but non-intrusive. The perfect balance. There are added touches such as the welcome pack which add to the overall stay and make life that much easier. If anything they should be charging more!!

Relaxing Break

Cosy hideaway

Can't really think of anything negative, so lucky to have found this place，a very well set up and self contained unit.Tony and Aileen were perfect hosts and so much to see in the surrounding countryside. Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.
