“Well appointed hotel with lovely views across the Nailsworth valley. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a huge bed. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner, but breakfast is excellent. We have stayed here three times now and have not been disappointed. ”
“The hotel is beautiful and in a great location with a lot of shops and restaurants close by. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in a room on the top floor of the mill, it was a picturesque room, it was a bit hot at night but they had a ventilator to cool it down. The food at the restaurant was amazing! Great chef, delicious breakfast and dinners. ”

“The Bell Inn was absolutely lovely. Our room was small but clean, comfortable and charming. But the real star of the stay was the restaurant itself— the food was excellent. “A very special weekend made even better by the Stroud. A free upgrade to their best room made us feel like VIPs and a late check out too! The room was amazing, spacious, with a bathtub and separate shower room. The bed was big and comfy. The hotel made sure our room had a fan on this particularly hot weekend, drawing the curtains to try and keep it cool. Although you are next to the station and above the outside drinks area, we rarely heard anything. No trouble sleeping!

“The main bed was firm but comfortable. Parking can be interesting, if the three spots directly outside are occupied there are other car parks within a short distance 25 - 50 meters but the area is quiet so we could pull up outside the garlic rooms and drop our bags in and then park up. We had a little difficulty setting up the sofa bed but putting the mattress on the floor gave us a third bed. We would happily stay again. Thank you Garlic rooms.”
“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob.
The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again.”
