“My stay at this rental was deeply unsettling and unsafe. The apartment itself has a creepy, neglected vibe, and it only got worst. A serious safety issue occured when a teenager in our group fell through a rotted, unstable deck/ a terrifying and completely preventable accident. Even more concerning, the entrance code to our apartment was the same code used for all other units in the building. This made me feel extremely unsafe as anyone from another unit could have accessed ours at any time....

“Great vacation week at this house. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is huge. It was great having air conditioning. The property was beautiful, nice and shady, and we were able to do a lot of fishing, kayaking and swimming by the dock.”

“We stayed here while visiting WPI - very convenient. The living area was ideal for our family gatherings (warning - the sofa is so comfy you may doze off). The owner was easy to communicate with and the house was exactly as listed. ”

“Good stay for an overnight in the area, location was a little tricky to find at night but once I did it was easy to get in. Had all the amenities needed for a short stay and is near the highway for quick on and off.”

“We had room for each of the adults, which included adult children. At these ages they no longer want to share a bed or bathroom with anyone. Perfect that we could come together, but have our own separate spaces. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need.”

“I stayed at this property for almost a month and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had everything I needed and is conveniently located to Route 9 and I-435. The host was very responsive, which I greatly appreciated. It's nice to know such a comfortable place is available in Shrewsbury.”

“We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted something fun to do in between games. Having the lake and the boats was amazing. The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing. Tony was very responsive and helpful! The only thing we would have like to have was a binder with information about the neighborhood, best pizza, best place to get groceries, etc. Overall a great stay!”

“Mini family vacation. The property was pleasant and convenient to the Museums and Zoo.This is not specific to this stay, but I wish the fees would be available prior to the booking/ payment process. We had to stop the booking of a different property for this trip when the hidden fees more than doubled the cost of the rental.”

“New house with all of the accommodations! Kitchen is well fortified with new cookware and all of the essentials. Spacious, clean and inviting. Comfortable linens. Good communication and helpful throughout the stay. This Vrbo was well thought out! Kudos to the host!”

“This is a special place. It is obvious how much it has been loved by the owners for many years. It is filled with art, books, and unique objects from around the world. It is a wonderful place for family gatherings, with five bedrooms and many different areas to hang out. We played croquet and board games and roasted marshmallows around a fire. We explored the property a bit. Watch out for poison ivy if you do that! Our dog jumped right in a pond. He didn’t realize how deep it was!”

“We stayed at Abigail’s nest a couple weekends ago for a lowkey bachelorette weekend by the pool and Kim and her house were more amazing that we could’ve imagined. The house was absolutely gorgeous and clean and the yard and pool were as well. We relaxed by the pool and had an absolute blast celebrating our bride! We are so grateful to have found this gem! Kim was great and communicative the entire time and we are all grateful for a fantastic weekend. Thanks again Kim!”

The home was immaculate, fully stocked with everything we needed, and had plenty of comfortable spaces for our large family to relax and spend time together. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly—even taking time to show us around. We were especially delighted by the Boat Parade and the amazing firework displays. It was a truly memorable stay, and we would absolutely return!”
