Unique Log Cabin construction using the Swedish-style vertical log method.

A newly remodeled kitchen with new appliances have been completed in April 2020. New vinyl plank flooring has been installed in the living room in March 2021. Improvements are important to me and I am so excited for you to stay!!! The little things can make a huge difference!

Experience some of the best fishing, swimming, boating and outdoor recreational adventures in Door County on beautiful Sand Bay.

This charming log cabin is conveniently located just seven miles west of the city of Sturgeon Bay and the gateway of Door County.

Moonlight Magic provides a 300-feet deep wooded lot for privacy and plenty of parking for vehicles/boats. A 100-feet of waterfront with a pebble/rocky beach. The shorefront cabin is just 30 feet from the water and is not visible from the road.

View the sunrise over Sand Bay Larsen’s Reef, which is one of the hottest fishing spots in Door County, the Sturgeon Bay shipping channel and the big waters of Green Bay.

The area is on a quiet, wooded, and beautiful point with Riley’s Bay on one side and Sand Bay on the other.

There are two sand beaches that are within walking distance.

The area is perfect for walking, biking, and rollerblading along the wildflowers and tree-lined loop that is abound with wildlife. A range of bikes are provided and free to use.

Enjoy the pelicans and wildlife that visit our private, secluded haven. Relax in front of the bonfire and enjoy the fireworks that frequent a warm summer night with the waves pounding on the shoreline.

Relax in our open living/dining room, watch TV, listen to music or choose from a selection of games and books.

The kitchen contains pots/pans, cooking utensils, coffeemaker, can opener, toaster, blender, dishes, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and stove/oven for your cooking needs.

The two bedrooms upstairs include a king-size bed in one room and three full-size beds in the second room to accommodate up to eight guests. There is a twin-size roll-away bed located on the Main Floor to accommodate one extra guest. The full bath with a shower/tub is located on the Main Floor.

Central Heating & Cooling throughout. Ceiling fans are located on the Main Floor and in the Screened-in-Porch.

The enclosed porch is furnished with wicker furniture. The outside patio is furnished with table/chairs and charcoal weber grill. A stone pathway leads to the dock and fire pit.

Beautiful and Calm

We absolutely loved our stay. Our kids loved that they could fish and hang out in the water near the house. They loved riding the bikes that were provided. We had quite the fireworks show for 3 nights and never needed to leave the property. Our kids already asked when we can stay here again! Thank you so much!

Wonderful getaway

My husband, dog and I had a great time relaxing lakefront. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. You’re close enough to Sturgeon Bay to get coffee or browse the shops but remote enough to have peace and quiet.

Lovely Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute, clean and great location cabin. It only took about 10-15 minutes to get into town and was so worth it being right on the bay! Pet friendly and check in/out process was super convenient! The fire place was also very cozy and everyone enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend!!

Cozy and relaxing!

This was a wonderful weekend and the perfect getaway from the busy holiday season. We were able to walk around the neighborhood, sit inside by the fire, and watch our favorite holiday movie. The location is far enough from the busier areas of Door County, but close enough to drive into Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Sister Bay. We would definitely recommend this to friends.

Great Cozy Cabin!

We had a great stay at this cabin during the second week of October. The kitchen is probably the best stocked kitchen of anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything you needed was ready for your use at the cabin! It was an easy drive to anywhere we wanted to go in Door County.

Shoreline

Beach/shoreline was less than desirable, very slinky and unmaintained and dock was full of gull/pelican debris. Cabin and views were wounderful and a very nice location and the fire pit was enjoyable.

Wonderful Property!

We have stayed at the Moonlight Magic cottage for several years in a row. Our recent visit was once again outstanding! The owner does a great job of communicating and was extremely accommodating when we had to adjust our schedule. The cottage has some recent upgrades which are very nice. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend this property!

Gorgeous

3 generations of my family stayed for a weekend with our dogs. The scenery and wildlife was gorgeous. The cabin itself was very beautiful and accommodating. We relaxed by the fire pit and watched the pelicans, seagulls and waves. There was also plenty of area activities. We would absolutely recommend this cabin.
