“Rooms were clean and large. We had a two room lockout. Each room with its own living room. Bathrooms were large and clean. Bedding was hotel quality. Close to golf courses and shops. Access to resort amenities was a big plus!”

“Booked here specifically to use the pool/waterpark. Arrived at 6pm & told it closes at 8 which was ok but the waterpark was not even open only 2 pools which were only 3.5 ft deep but nice. Lots of construction building new hotel building and spa. Then fire alarm went off at 10:30ish for quite a while with no instructions if real or not then went off again at 6:30am so woken up twice. Love Hilton but not sure if I will give this one another try.”

“Looking for the villa experience in Phoenix? We have stayed at both the Westin Kierland Villas and Marriott's Canyon Villas in Phoenix/Scottsdale several times each. Upon check-in (room wasn't ready until after 4:00 pm as stated), we were told that the adjacent JW resort facilities were not available like usual due to a "black out week". Never once was this communicated to us up front by the host, the actual Marriott point holders who had the week, nor Canyon Villas themselves. The listing……

“The pool was great and the location was convenient for traveling to spring training. Kids (11/13) loved all of the activities onsite!”

“Property is large and well maintained . Central pool area crowded. The other pools not crowded. The food at pool is ok but when busy, they have trouble keeping up. Prices in small store very high, the unit we received was not the one we reserved. One balcony instead of two. Also some buildings at resort overlook large adjacent contraction site. That was unpleasant.”

“We enjoyed on 6 day stay at the Marriott Canyon Villas. It accommodated our family of 5 adults and 2 kids very well. Our room was next to the main pool and lobby. An added bonus was being able to use the JW Marriott’s pool. We would definitely stay here again. ”
