Great location right off highway with anything you can need close by. Clean, comfy, spacious room with attentive, kind & articulate staff. Good coffee all the time in lobby. Great breakfast till 10am, eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, pastries, oatmeal, cereal and real fruit. Gym was kept up & nice enough with a mat, free weights, balls, treadmills, elliptical, reg bike & peloton bike! Pool was shaded, in the parking lot just a regular square outdoor hotel pool. This property is very well managed. We were there 5 nights and gave it a top rating because the rooms were spacious with a sitting area, it's clean, the breakfast and breakfast service was excellent, the pool and grounds were well maintained, and the workout facility was adequate. The front desk was staffed 24/7 It's not a new facility and the furnishings are dated, but everything worked. For North Scottsdale is a good value and we'll be returning there again on our next trip.

Everything about this hotel was great with the exception of breakfast. It was high in simple, sugary carbs and low in quality protein. The yogurt now comes out of a machine instead of individual cartons which keeps me from reading ingredients. I understand that the price of food has gone up but it would be better to offer fewer items of high quality than a large variety of items of low quality.
