“The property itself has charm, but a few issues really impacted our stay.
Most notably, we found two roaches in our room and they were German cockroaches, not the "palmetto bugs" staff tried to attribute to recent palm tree trimming nearby. To their credit, staff did acknowledge that explanation wasn't really an excuse, but the resolution fell short: we were told housekeeping wouldn't address it until checkout (which was the next day), meaning we had to deal with it for the remainder of our……

“I felt like the room was a dungeon. I was on the first floor and the patio faced the courtyard so you couldn't have the drapes open and the front door with the other window faced the other courtyard so I couldn't have that drapes open because people would be looking in the room. So the whole time the drapes were closed, and the room was very dark and depressing. Also a lot of construction going on at the site.”
