This home in Downtown Elizabeth City has been updated and offers huge spaces and modern upgrades while respecting and honoring the historic home. The bedrooms and baths are huge, and there is tons of living and gathering space (two dining areas, two living rooms). It’s close to downtown, restaurants and easy to the main roads. Would definitely stay there again. "

There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice."

"The host was good with communication ahead of time. Upon arrival, the home was in what appeared to be a state of abandonment. The code the host gave was right and we were able to get in. The AC was not on, so it was almost 90 degrees and the house smelled musky. There was what looked like a months worth of mail on the kitchen counter along with some tools (maybe from previous maintenance?).
