The property itself was exceptional. All furnishings were lovely, the beds comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. Location suited us (an easy 20 min walk to Hastings Street) and it was nice having a view of the river.At the time of booking, the advertisement for the property stated it had a 'private pool' - this was deceiving given the pool is communal - I believe this wording has since been updated. Only 2 pool lounges in the pool area, would be a good idea to have more as there were 4 of us staying and there are another 3 apartments in the complex all of who have access to the pool. Having access to a key from the pool area to the river area would have also been helpful, allowing guests to have access from the pool to the grassed area along the river. Initially our host was great, however, during the course of our stay, we found the host a little tricky to deal with. Communication wasn't exactly very clear. Initially we dealt direct via email and phone, however, during out stay, communication was all via the Stayz messaging app. Would be helpful also to have more shower towels, pool towels and toilet paper made available for guests for the entirety of their stay.
