THE LOCATION

Holden Beach NC, the perfect spot to enjoy a coastal vacation. With its white, sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets, it is no surprise that Holden was voted one of America's top 10 family beaches. This gorgeous canal front house has its own private dock! It's just a 8 minute walk to the public beach access.

PROPERTY DETAILS

This property comes fully stocked with all the amenities you will need to have a comforting and relaxing vacation. Amenities begin with covered parking and lighting for up to 6 cars. There is a private pool (pool heating option available for an additional cost, please see "Important Information" for more details), tiki bar and outdoor shower. Smart TVs are located in every bedroom and in the main living areas on both floors. The first floor includes a den, and wet bar. The elevator goes to all levels. All Stellar Beach rentals include bed and bath linens for all stays. This home has keyless entry. To make your stay with us feel a little more like home, this property includes a propane gas grill. Additionally, this home comes with six (6) beach chairs for you and your party to utilize at your leisure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Boat lift is not available for use.

Pets are not permitted at this property.

Pre-approval is required for parties under age 30.

Smoking is not permitted at any Stellar Beach property.

Pool heating is an additional $60 per night with a 3 night minimum. If you would like pool heating please let us know at the time of booking or at least 30 days prior to your stay. *Please note pool heating is only available between October 1st – May 15th.*

Fire pits and deep fryers are not permitted for use at this property due to the safety hazards they pose.


CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid if you notify Stellar Beach in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least ninety (90) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within ninety (90) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 90 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Stellar Beach.

Stellar Beach highly recommends purchasing traveler insurance!

We offer Standard Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of Standard Trip Insurance is 7% of the total booking price. Standard Trip Insurance can be purchased up to 30 days before your stay.

We offer Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons (listed above) and 60% reimbursement if your cancellation reason does not fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of CFAR Trip Insurance is 10.8% of the total booking price. CFAR Trip Insurance can only be purchased in the period of two weeks after your booking has been made and only if check-in is more than 30 days out.

We had never been to Holden beach prior to this trip and we loved it so much we are already planning our return. This house was gorgeous and had everything we needed for an amazing week at the beach. The pool area was amazing and we spent a lot of time there. We absolutely LOVED being able to have our boat right there docked at the house. Taking the boat to dinner with the family at Provision Company was so much fun! The owners were fantastic, responding to everything we needed immediately. Great for a group get together
We do an annual friend's trip and this house was set up perfectly for a great time. Only suggestion is to have a bigger TV in the downstairs open area. Other than that, great house in a great location!

Decompression from reality
Loved the pool having shade, the dock close to the icw, and within walking distance of beach. Just a couple of negatives: the kitchen floor was sticky, the refrigerator didn't have enough door shelves, but having the mini fridge on same level helped move items there to make room for all the groceries. The grill didn't work but could have just been out of propane... The water got shut off one morning as I was brushing my teeth. Called the number provided and was back on with in half of an hour... Don't know why that would have happened. A valve at the meter was shut off???

We were there Thursday thru Sunday. Short trip but had so much fun, weather was wonderful even though we were there at back end of a hurricane out in the ocean. House and location are both wonderful. My only frivolous complaint is the THREE remotes to work TV. Without reading glasses I’m useless. That being said We would certainly return

The experience was extremely stressful. The day we were supposed to leave we could received an email the property had been double booked and our reservation had been canceled. They found us another house which was one not nearly as nice and was not on the beach. The original house had a pool and it was directly on the ocean. This was very disappointing as we were in the car driving. We were given an option for a new home. Which of course we had no choice but to take the house was just OK a little dirty upon entry and smelled a lot like smoke Holden Beach is a quiet beach

The views were stunning! We took our kayaks and the launch at the dock was amazing!! Spent so much time in the pool!! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed except a broom! Couldn’t find one anywhere! Elevator was such a plus! Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect home for a family vacation!
This is a beautiful home! Hailey was great to work with. We love staying on the canal because you get the best of both worlds! The beach is a short walk away and with the dock as our back yard we enjoyed kayaking in the intracoastal waterway and fishing off the dock. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We did eat at the Mermaid Grill one night and it was delicious! We love the slow pace and family friendly atmosphere of Holden! We would stay at Dock Holiday again!

Spring Break 2021
Planning for this trip for my family of four and two other families was easy. The property manager responded timely to all of my questions, and the house was perfect for our four-night stay. We paid to have the pool heated, and it was worth every penny in early April. Adults and kids spent a lot of time swimming and lounging around the pool. The walk to the beach was short, and having canal access was awesome for kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was clean and as advertised. Thanks for a fun trip!

House was clean. Heating the pool was a great asset. Elevator is a must with kitchen on top floor. Minor issues was the condition of outdoor furniture. After months of being shut in because of COVID pandemic it was great to get away with or pod group. We would use the Dock Holiday at Holden Beach ,NC again.

Heated pool it was extra charge and had problem all stay they partially return the money good communication with manager. And they charged extra clean fee so be aware that you have to leave the property spotless. but is a really nice property we have a great time there!

Nice home good location. Smoke odors were a giant issue. 2 family members have asthma Other negative is advertised as boat access. Chanel too narrow to dock boats on both sides. I had to dock 2 days at marina My local home contact was very understanding and helpful in all other matters

We really enjoyed our stay and would have given it 5 stars if there had been some type of window coverings on the main level. At breakfast the sun was shining brightly in everyones eyes. As the day went on that level really got warm. Just a real inconvienance!!

We loved our stay at Holden! This is a great house and a beautiful beach. Our only complaint is we paid to heat the pool for our entire stay. The pool was not heated when we arrived. We had to call for someone to come and it wasn’t warm until the next day but we were still charged for the day it wasn’t warm. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Need new pots and pans, clean the kitchen drawers
This house has unfortunately seen the terrors of renting in its short time and unfortunately some cleaning has been neglected. The cleaning fee that is charged apparently doesn't get applied to cleaning the kitchen. Upon arrival we had to empty the silverware drawer and run everything through the dishwasher because the amount of grim and hair in that drawer was disgusting. The whole week we kept the clean silverware in a cool whip container just so we didn't have to open that drawer again. The pots and pans are are so beat up that they are probably dangerous to eat out of. All of the tephlon coating is chipped and that's just not safe. The rest of the house was very clean compared to the kitchen and it is a great layout. The pool was very nice though the pool deck wasn't picked up prior to our arrival. I know we rented towards the end of the season and I hope a deep clean is completed a couple of times a year. This house could be a great get away with just some attention to detail cleaning and new pots and pans.
