“Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms look new, recently renovated. There are little things that could make it even better, they didn't ask our opinion, but here they are :) The keys are the same, the big main door key didn't work and the receptionist said they are the same.. Also in the shower there was no shelf to put the soap or shampoo, and in the sink there was no plate for the soap. Also, some towels looked a bit stained. Maybe a staff member could regularly go around and check everything……

“If I could give Gaia 10 stars, I would. The customer service is truly outstanding. We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. “We arrived to the hotel after dark, it was a little confusing finding it (wish there were a few more signs), but once we found it, we were very pleased! Staff was very friendly, room was super cute and very clean! The views were absolutely amazing!! We had the free breakfast and it was great. (There was coffee, juice, toast, eggs, plantains, sausage, cereal and fresh fruit) from what I remember…This was our 1st trip to Costa Rica, and we have already booked again to come back. “We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. ”

“This hotel was a dream! The minute we stepped onto the beach it was paradise. Our room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the ocean. It was a bit of a hike (stairs) but worth it. It was a few minutes walk to the beach where there was good music, monkeys everywhere in the trees, and the staff is so accommodating, making sure we had beach chairs and anything we needed. 2 for one happy hour was great too! Surf and body board rentals right there, parasailing and jet ski rentals just up the……
