The staff was responsive to questions and multilingual if you are traveling internationally. The only downside is that parking is sparse since it is in the city's center. Other than that, it's a fantastic base since one can walk to restaurants/bars, shops, historical sites, and supermarkets."

"Nyon hostel is quite as described by other reviews. It is very clean except the rooms you sleep in because of the type of travellers who are inconsiderate about others. These selfish and ignorent travellers should be told to clean up after them but the hostel takes a dim view of its responsibility to ensure every traveller feels safe and is able to sleep peacefully. "We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"an absolute lack of cleanliness, I have never seen such an amount of dust in my life, the surprising thing is the windows were open to ventilate, and they did not even have 2 minutes to clean the dust from the tables and chairs, the bathroom was extremely dirty, the The bathtub has not been used in months, it was full of dust and pieces of glass. The first thing I did was go to the supermarket and buy product and a brush to clean because I was so embarrassed to see that dirt."
