Dirty bathrooms and overcrowded hostel

We were really disapointed, we've been travelling for 3 and half months and these were the most disgusting bathrooms we've been in. First time I felt the need to wear flip flops in the shower! I told the reception that they were filthy and excuses were made about too many people using the shower and nothing changed. Don't forget to bring your own toilet paper as they're often empty! There were too few facilities for the number of people in the hostel. The kitchen was inadequate and filthy so we didn't even use it. However, we stayed in a private double room on a high floor which was nice and also quiet at night. No complaints with the room but the shared bathrooms and living areas were far from up to scratch. A serious deep clean is needed.

The properpty has alot of bedbugs and is very dirty, they put 10 to 14 people in one small room, and they do not even clean the rooms. Staying here is a health risk, i had a terrible experience with them 2 nights stay where first night i discovered bed bugs and changed the room the next day also to see the same bed bugs.

This accomodation was disappointing. The general cleanliness of the shared kitchen was poor and very limited space. Floors hadn’t been cleaned for so long that they were sticky. Our bedroom had a window that wouldn’t close and a cold shower, neither of which were dealt with to any degree.

Please don’t come here, it’s not worth it to save a few bucks. No air conditioning, no space in the fridge, cockroaches, and rats!! Couldn’t fall asleep!!

We booked family room with private bathroom, but we did not use hot water due to pipe line trouble. We could not be helped to use dirty public shower room. Window could not be closed. Around the entrance was very noisy until midnight.

Wij verbleven hier met onze dochter. We hadden een kamer geboekt met eigen badkamer echter deed het warm water het niet dus moesten we alsnog gebruik maken van de gedeelde douch. Is op zich niet zo erg maar die was zo vies dat we niet eens de muren wilde aanraken. Er een hing pleister aan de muur en na vier dagen hing die er nog dus ging er van uit dat er niet is schoongemaakt. Onze kamer was aan de straatkant waar ongeveer 50 Uber eats fietsen stonden en vaak tot ‘s nachts veel lawaai vandaan kwam. De keuken vloer was vies vet en glad en het rook er zuur. De locatie is verder wel super gelegen. Dus als je een echte backpacker bent en het niet erg vind dat het minder schoon is dan normaal een prima plek.

長期旅行をしていて、値段が安いため決めました。キングスクロスは歓楽街でドラッグの売買があるとかであまり治安が良くないことは知っていましたが、住所がサリーヒルズなので安直に考えて予約しました。女子4人部屋に2日滞在しました。部屋にプライベートのシャワールームとトイレがあって、そこが混んでいれば共用のシャワールームも使っても良いということでしたが、あまりきれいではありませんでした。 というか、設備自体が全体的に古く、掃除は入ってくれているのですが、利用者の質が良くなく、汚したら汚しっぱなしという感じでした。 キッチンもコンロが何口もあって混雑はするものの料理はできるようでしたが、パッパーをシェアハウスがわりにしている人で溢れていて、キッチンもそんなにきれいではなく、というか使った後きれいにするという意識がありませんでした。部屋自体は広く、カーペットなので汚れは分かりませんが、同室者が長期滞在しているようで下着やタバコ、お酒などを床いっぱいに置いていて、汚かったです。部屋で吸うことはないものの、私以外喫煙者で、窓を開けていると外の喫煙所からのタバコの匂いがするのも少し嫌でした。 ハウスルールがあり、23時以降は静かにというルールは共用部では守られていましたが、同室者が16-20時まで寝て、3時に帰ってくるという形、しかも友達を連れ込んで話し込んだりしていて疲れました。 共用部で音楽を流したり話したりの声が、共有部を囲うように部屋があり、窓が閉められないのでずっと聞こえてくるのと、街の雰囲気に合わせて、賑やかな人が泊まっているので夜は休みたい人や朝早くから活動したい人は少し高いですがサーキュラーキーやセントラルなどのもうすこし観光地よりのところに泊まるといいと思います。値段だけを見て少し後悔しました。キングスクロス駅からは10分弱で、駅の近くにはスーパーがあります。ここは洗濯、乾燥機は無料でした。洗剤はなければ受付で買うのだと思うのですが、全て割高だったのでスーパーで買うか持ってくるかした方がお得だと思います。 セキュリティーに関してはオートロック、入り口にも鍵がありしっかりしていましたが、ロッカーやタオルが有料でそのせいでみんな床に服をぶちまけたまま外出して遅くに帰ってくるという感じでした。 少し歩くと高級住宅街で、エリザベスベイハウスという英国貴族の邸宅が無料で見学できたり、カフェがあったりして周りを観光することもできました。 ただ、夜遊びに行くことがない人や薬などのトラブルに巻き込まれたくない人にはおすすめしません。夜歩くのは人気がないか酔っ払いがいて危ないと思いました。

まあまあ

女子4人部屋を利用しました。価格の割に広くて綺麗だったのでよかったです。部屋にトイレがあるのもポイント高い。残念な点として、シャワールームが男女兼用かつロックはできるが扉が上下開いているタイプなので気が気でないです。タオルレンタルは一回5ドル。毎晩変な匂いがしていたので、怪しいことに巻き込まれたくないなら回避すべき。旅慣れたどこでも寝れるタイプの人にはコスパ高い。
