"Clean spacious room and special thanks to Mathew for upgrading our room to river facing. Staff are very courteous and helpful The Spa onsite is a welcome. The charging station was electric cars were not fully functional but staff did try to reserve one for me. Will stay again. "

"The hotel is very well located and the staff were very nice. Allowed me to leave my bags before and after check in. The room was alright, but it was freezing the entire night and nothing I did to the thermostat would change it. I also couldn’t get the shower to heat up, but didn’t have time to ask someone to fix it."

"Was in a garden room which was fine but room was a cold, however oil filled heater was in the cupboard. Room was clean and en suite was spacious. Food was very expensive but no better than a home cooked meal. "

"Convenient for train travel. A beautiful Old hotel with an amazing modern art collection. The contrast is awesome! The staff are very helpful and friendly. We didn't try the lounge or restaurant but it looked really nice"

"Very nice modern hotel. Food was excellent as were the staff. Parking is restricted due to some building work but this should be only temporary. Within easy walking distance to the town centre. "
