The staff was welcoming and kind. There are bikes that can be used stationed outside the hotel, making it convenient to get around Kyoto. Major attractions are within a 10 minute driving distance. The room are clean but a little small and if your a westerner you might not like that the beds are only about 6 inches (15cm) off the ground. The rooms are clean if not a little small but that’s pretty standard for Japan. The area is great quit and very close to osaka train station. The immediate area doesn’t have a lot for shopping but you only about a 30 minute walk from shinsaibashi. The staff were very helpful to me and friendly. I didn’t get they’re breakfast so I can’t rate it good or bad.
