We stayed for two weeks. Nice neighborhood, short walk to the subway. The laundry service across the street is good and inexpensive. Desk staff wonderful. Room, furnishings, appliances all in good shape and good working condition. If you want a good value, no frills, convenient place to stay, this place is perfect. Three suggestions for management: 1) Instead of a coffee table and large wood chair, put a small dining table and 2 small dining chairs in the living room. 2) Do a more thorough job of cleaning/mopping the floors. 3) Provide larger trash cans. But overall, great job!

The room was good and the grounds are glorious. We enjoyed time on the terrace and in the swimming pool. The air-con was not brilliant and the hot water was a little lacking. The wine tour was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable; the tastings were generous and the accompanying cheese plate was very welcome. You need to get to know the systems - there is no bar, for instance, and waiters appear from nowhere to get glasses on wine of various types. We were never offered beers or spirits. Dinner comes with wine; this was not explained to us so we took the complimentary bottle of wine with us for dinner, but did not get a chance to drink it - we were flying home direct from Casa Real so couldn't take it with us, hence we could not drink it; shame. Overall we did enjoy finishing our Chile/Argentina holiday at Casa Real but it could have been made better with clearer explanations of what was happening for getting drinks and dinner - it just needs explaining on arrival or via email beforehand.

This is by far the best value-for-money hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is perhaps one of the best in Santiago. It is located in a quiet and safe street, surrounded by restaurants and stores. If you ever stayed at The Chandler Hotel in NYC, the Capital Bellet Hotel exceeds it in value by miles. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Santiago.

Cleaning of the could have been much better, I had to tell the front deal twice that the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Just by lookin at the windows we could see they were not cleaned for months. Too bad because the location was great.
