I recently stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment at Quest St Kilda for two weeks. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, and the room was clean. However, my stay was frustrating due to a lack of basic maintenance and dismissive customer service. I specifically booked my room type so that I would have in-room laundry facilities. Unfortunately, the dryer was broken. I reported this to the front desk on three or four separate occasions, but despite reassurances each time, nothing was done to fix the machine or offer a resolution during my entire stay. The plumbing was also incredibly inconsistent (I did not bring this up to the staff). The shower temperature constantly cycled between boiling and freezing, making showering a very unpleasant daily experience. Turning on another tap in the apartment guaranteed a temperature spike or drop, but the shower would also just cycle on its own regardless. Finally, a warning to anyone traveling for work who requires a tax receipt: if you book through Expedia they state that the hotel will provide the tax invoice at the end of your stay, but Quest claims Expedia has to issue it. To avoid getting caught in the middle, I brought this up early in my second week to get it resolved before leaving. I was told they needed to check with management. I followed up a few days later and was assured everything would be fine. Yet, at checkout, I was told they still needed to sort it out with management. Overall, good location but frustrating hotel

This is a great apartment accommodation (no servicing though) very well equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom amenities. Excellent location. Tram stop right outside an easy walk to Spencer outlet. Pool and spa for guests too! Only negative, we had a 2br 1bath room. Was really obvious the room actually had an ensuite as well behind a looked door with a sign saying we had only paid/booked for 1 bath so use the other one. While this is true when booking there was no option for a 2 bath apartment, if there was I would have taken it. In reality over a 4 night stay how much does cleaning the extra bathroom at the end of stay actually cost? $50? I would have paid. Overall apartment was tired and a bit rundown but great location made up for it

Is conveniently located inside the same building as Mantra on Little Bourke in the heart of the CBD. Same comfortable and spacious layout as Mantra rooms we've stayed out in the building though located on different floors. Was able to store our luggage at reception on level 8 both before and after our stay which was amazing. If you need more amenities like toilet paper just need to ask at reception - housekeeping only from day 4 onwards though not needed. Love the keypin access for the room and ground floor late night access. Highly recommend.
