Nice hotel out of tanah rata

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel is 2km outside of tanah rata so we had to get a taxi there if we wanted to go there. Restaurant is good and breakfast had a good selection

Good accommodation with all you need

Nice hotel with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Room and bathroom were a little dated but all clean and tidy. Balcony made for great views and ability to have door and windows open at all times, which is good as there is no air con (it's not too hot there anyway). Location isn't perfect unless you're happy to walk but it's about a 15 min walk to the Golden Hills Night Markets, then a further 10mins to shops. There is a restaurant at hotel, but also a Steam Boat Restaurant next door (would recommend). Transport is difficult here as Grab App is not popular, but taxis can be booked at front desk.

Well, the room and the bathroom are in need of a makeover as everything is quite old and this worn out. It starts with the carpet in the corridor and room, the old fashioned furniture, hard beds in which your partner’s turn makes you wobble and ends with the nonexistent ac. Although you are in the highlands, you cannot ventilate properly as there is a loud road right next to the hotel.

I asked front desk not to do the room service and requested a do not disturb tag. The front desk said yes and told me to call for anything I need. After a day trip back, my room still serviced and everything is touched which make me not comfortable

Nice hotel, very strategically located. The restaurant has variety food to cater for all. Word of caution for the Biryani served at adjacent joint. The egg they give you is really bad.

Overall great stay, minus other smoking guests

Located not far from attractions and food, but still managed to be peaceful and quiet. Hot water pressure was great, breakfast was alright, no complaints, bed linens were comfortable, both firm and soft pillows were offered in room as well. Only issue I had was cigarette smoke coming from another guest’s window from a floor below. Room windows are not fully sealed, hence was breathing secondhand smoke.

The room is spacious and clean, staff was friendly and attentive only the downside is our room near to the roadside a bit noisy if motorists pass by, breakfast not much choices parking limited
