"Jim was an awesome host. I arrived late, he met me at the gate. He seemed more like family than a host. He took time to make sure I was comfortable before he left. Although I stayed one night, I will come again with my family. Thanks Hotels.com for letting me meet a new friend"

a fine hotel, recently refurbished, about an 7 euro ride from the aiport and a 16 euro ride to the center of town. bus right across the street runs about every hour (2 or 3-hour intervals on saturday and sunday), and does not run much after 8:30 at night. breakfast was intruiging: the only place i've ever seen an authentic greek coffee maker (with the hot sand) which requires the long instrument, and local sheep butter. as long as the distance from the port does not bother you, this is your...

The sea view pool and the landscaping were so impressive and tranquil. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The Molivos apartment was very nice and relaxing with 2 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, 2 verandas, kitchen. LR, communal pool, 2 extra sunbeds on the grass under a tree, and parking.
Perfect apartment for a family or friends. We are going again in July with our 21 and 23 year old children to have quality time.
Marina and the staff were very friendly. There’s a little bar near the pool for drinks...

I stayed only one night, before an early flight to Athens. The manager and staff were extremely helpful-- not only phoning the car rental agency for me but fetching a package for me, from a courier in downtown Mytilene, and delivering it to my door. (If they hadn't done that, I would never have got the package.) The room-service menu is small, but I was surprised to get any food at all in such a little hotel, and the salad I ordered was good.

From the moment we entered the gate, our experience at Galazio Asteri 1 was the most welcoming and relaxing stay we have ever had in our travels. Dimitris and Michaela are two of the kindest people you will ever meet and make you
feel like family. The hotel apartment was well furnished and impeccably clean. The beds are super comfortable and kitchen has everything you need when you want to do your own cooking. The swimming pool has four distinct water jet features, the best being the "jet...

The best area to stay in Tarti is along the main beach, which offers direct access to the sea and the village's amenities.
This area is the heart of Tarti, characterized by a long, sandy beach lined with a selection of tavernas and a few small shops. The main road runs parallel to the beach, making everything easily accessible on foot. It's a relaxed setting where the focus is on the natural beauty of the bay.
Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will find this area particularly appealing. The beachfront location means you can easily enjoy morning swims, leisurely lunches with sea views, and quiet evenings watching the sunset.
When is the best time to go to Tarti?
The best time to go to Tarti is during the shoulder seasons of late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October).
During these months, you'll find pleasant weather with warm temperatures ideal for swimming and exploring, without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. The sea is warm enough for comfortable dips, and the local tavernas and shops are fully operational, providing a complete experience. This period is particularly good for couples looking for a relaxed yet engaging getaway.
For travelers who prefer the warmest weather and a bustling atmosphere, July and August offer peak summer conditions. While the beaches will be more populated, all tourist services are at their prime, and the evenings are long and warm.
