The property is a little old/dated. Also, the hot tub is only available 3pm to 8pm and you need to reserve a 30-minute slot (on the plus side you get the hot tub to yourself for the 30 minute slot, and the clean it fully every day). "

"Everything was ok and Plateau Lodge is one of the best we have stayed for our hiking trips. The only little problem is just photo displayed when I booked. It shows a nice outdoor bath tub, so I expected the room I booked looks like this. However, that is indeed for another room type."

"We LOVED our stay at the Rotokauwau Woolshed. Value for money, beautiful views, chill vibe. The place had everything we needed for a peaceful few days. Warm beds with lots of blankets. Really good pressure in the shower! Evan was so accommodating and had great communication. He checked in to make sure we were happy and everything was right. "The bedsheets is a little smelly to my standards but all in all it is a nice place to stay. Value for money. It has everything you need. The kitchen has everything and it is clean. Warm showers and clean toilets. It is very near to Tongariro national park so the location is very good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
