This hotel is in a beautiful spot. Across the street from Lake Huron, and with woods behind us, we had deer out our window in the evening. Our room was clean and spacious, and they’re pet friendly. The staff is friendly, and a nice breakfast is served. There’s nice parks on the lakeshore, and plenty of shopping in town. We definitely would love to come back.

Perfect

We spent a few days in Tawas with my elderly dog. The staff was warm and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. and the room was vert comfortable. I would definitely return in the future

Typically there is at least one thing I can write about a property that could improve upon or that wasn't as good as I would have hoped. This place though checked all the good boxes. It was clean and quiet, check in was simple and friendly (very personable lady working the counter. She gave great recommendations for dining and had a solid sense of humor.) the pool and hot tub was also clean and was a nice treat after a long day. I would definitely stay here in the future.

No proper control of heat in room, too hot, thermostat only goes as low as 65, no a/c to cool the room down. ESA certified fur baby and still got charged $25/night...I'm sorry but I consider a certified ESA animal as qualified as a service animal and she should have been free just like the service animals. Continental breakfast was plentiful but not tasty .. soggy uncooked waffles, muffins tasted bland, English muffins tasted like cardboard, and coffee was very bitter no matter how much sugar or creamer was added. Finally, went to get in the shower and there were red ants in the bathroom on the floor... front desk provided ant spray but also admitted it was a problem due to semi-heated floors..ants come out !!! Accomodations overall were nice, clean, and comfy bed. Pleased they put me on main floor and close to back door for ease of fur baby potty breaks.

Doggie friendly

We had a great a experience traveling with a great dane is not easy, but this place was very accomidating. Especially our dog who is afraid of everything. The rooms were super quiet so he didn't feel so nervous.
