"We thought this was a wonderful oasis. The cottage was generously stocked; the yard was private with lots of seating options. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to Steve and Darcy for hosting us."

"The home was so thoughtfully prepared for us. The check-in was simple and easy. The kitchen was well stocked and as such we could easily make our own meals. We had no issues with electronics - i.e., wifi, tv, etc. The location was central to everything we were doing. We had rented a car and it typically took 10 minutes or less to every place we needed to go."

"Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. We loved our comfortable stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a delightful base for our adventures!"

"We loved this little cabin, it was fully stocked. It had everything we needed. The cabin itself was updated and clean. We will definitely stay here again."

"This is a very lovely apartment with peek-a-boo views of the river. My pup and I had a wonderful stay. Bed was comfy and place was very clean. Wonderful screened in porch for morning coffee. The main home and other cottage was rented by a party that let us know we were not welcome to enjoy the back yard and riverside space, so we stayed away and enjoyed the river view from the living room window. Hopefully the next guests get to enjoy the river and the dock. I would def stay here again!"

"This was easily the best hotel/motel I've ever stayed at sure to the amazing customer service, the cleanliness, the outdoor space, the rooms and not to mention the laundry room which they provided laundry pods and dryer sheets at! I would recommend this place over and over again!!"
