"Beautifully located, spectacular scenery amongst the slopes of Etna and the vineyards. Property is well hidden, you wouldn't know it is there unless you are specifically looking for it. Property is well maintained and their respect for the environment and minimal impact is evident. The staff were wonderful with our check in, escorting us to our room. "Lovely room. Beautiful evening meals. Helped us out when we mis-laid our keys. Pool was very chilly but refreshing in the heat. We weren’t told that restaurant was closed one evening , and they forgot our take away breakfast one day, but quickly scrambled one together. A lovely place "

"Really nice set up. Location is a little out of the way, but then it is an Agriturismo. Located approx 15 minute drive up a very steep and winding road, a little hairy at times!! However the view from the chalets towards Etna is great. The site is set on a hillside so an uphill walk or short drive to breakfast/dinner. The pool was fantastic and Filippo brought regular supplies of chilled water for us at the poolside. Dinner was buffet style with lots of variety and good value at 25euros...

"The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast good and the staff very friendly. However the place is not as advertised. The pool was closed and looked like it had been closed for some time. No bar or restaurant (s). Just open for breakfast. There is another resort nearby that has these facilities so if they are important to you beware. "

"This winery-accommodation was simply magical. We had a friendly check in. After dinner, we returned to have a wine tasting. We bought some wine and sipped it by the pool as we watched the sunset. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the vineyard. It was breath taking! Excellent service and experience. "

"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "We were extremely lucky to be the only guests on the main house which made our short stay to be very special! All the staff made us feel like special guests. The landscape is iidilic, the design of the room and common spaces is perfect! The wine tasting with food pairing is a must."

"Access to the property is quite tricky and not for the faint hearted but it is in a stunning location . A car is essential. The property was charming and well equipped . It has amazing views . The description Mari - monti is true but it involves quite a trek down the mountain . It took us about 40 mins each way to access the coast . It is set in a beautiful part of Sicily and you get a real feel for life in this part of the island . The owner was very helpful and answered questions promptly ....

"Location is for those who want to be far from civilization - long climb up partly unpaved hairpin turn drive. Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Light too dim to read & TV reception fuzzy. The one unexpected "luxury" was extra pillows. Did not have dinner there, so can't speak for food, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - this is an agroturismo hotel supposed to feature...

"We loved this place. The owner spoke little english and us no Italian, but between us he was able to proudly tell us of his home produce wine and farm. The ambience was relaxed genuine and geared towards great food and surroundings. They kindly recomended view points for us ro visit the next day. Would definitely come back . Thank you :) x"

"Beautiful property and extremely friendly staff. My girlfriend and I loved staying here. The food was amazing and all for a great price. When we wanted to go catch a ferry to Vulcano, one of their staff took us and brought us back. We were also lucky enough to stay an extra night in our tent."

"Si tratta di un bell'agriturismo immerso completamente nel silenzio di un bosco e con una meravigliosa vista sulla vallata, l’accoglienza è stata impeccabile, le camere pulite e molto comode, ottimo punto d’appoggio per potersi spostare nei vari paesi vicini è molto caratteristici. "This is a charming hotel, half way up the hillside, surrounded with olive, fig and lemon trees. The hosts are very welcoming, the food is home cooked and lovely and the views stunning. Rooms are old fashioned and comfortable and the pool area is quiet and relaxed. You need a car to make the most of exploring the local area and getting down to the beach and supermarket."

"We rented this property so we can meet with friends and family from different locations in US and Europe! The terrace overlooking the sea was roomy and great for gathering with our friends and family who stayed at other nearby locations! The sun was hot in the afternoon but the shade of the terrace at that time of day allowed us to be able to spend time outside overlooking the water. The house is steps away from the beach! The village is not touristy which we loved as we had a genuine Italian...
