"The best part about this hotel is its setting and outdoor areas. Absolutely stunning. The beach is a sandy cove and swimming pool lovely with shallower one for children and a deeper area for adults and older children.
The rooms were dated but clean, and with gorgeous views from balcony, less so from the ground floor. They are arranged in small blocks with two downstairs and two upstairs rooms per block. We had two rooms but were in different blocks despite asking to be together. Air conditioning was provided and excellent. A small kitchenette in each room with a fridge and a hob meant we could cook pasta a couple of evenings to keep costs down. We had a hire car and drove to Lidl with was 10 mins away to stock up. The onsite shop was small.
Breakfast was fine- all outdoor seating which was shaded. Food laid out buffet style inside. There was ample with wasps crawling on all of the food the first few days that we were there which was off putting. I stuck to Greek yogurt for most of the week and only began braving the fruit towards the end when the wasps were more under control.
We ate in the onsite restaurant a few times and it was very good, lovely atmosphere and sea view. Cost €150 for five of us including wine and cokes, so quite expensive, but they have a captive audience. All in all I would return."
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. We were delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view bungalow, which was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious, beautifully presented, and the view was simply breathtaking.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout our visit, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. The only minor downsides were that the beach area was quite small and there wasn’t any evening entertainment at the hotel. However, these were only small points and did not take away from what was an exceptional holiday.
We would definitely return and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with outstanding service and beautiful surroundings."
"Older but updated very well. Staff were just great helpful and showed real emotions. No fake stuff. What was best is the dinner. Not a buffet but a set menu selection. Food was fresh and gave the best selection. Each meal had two starters and three salads as well as a main three course selection. We were there a week and no repeats. Cost was low compared to outside restaurant's. Small beach on a sheltered bay. Close to a supermarket and walkable to town. We have been to Crete many times and beats the high end places we have stayed in the past. Would go back again."
"Cannot say enough nice things about the facilities and the staff at Numo Ierapetra. Every detail was thought of and executed perfectly, from complimentary massages to helping my partner plan his proposal! Numo Ierapetra will forever have a special place in our hearts as the place we got engaged.
The 2 pools and beach were well maintained and the poolside music was relaxing and matched the vibe perfectly. The food was really good for a buffet and the a la carte menu for lunch was delicious. They also had a beach bar where you could order drinks and food directly to the beach loungers.
I want to thank specially Alina and Ioulia at Guest Experience, who helped make the proposal really especial, and booked dinners and car rentals for us to explore the island. Irini at Tamarisk was also fantastic, as well as Sandip at the beach bar!
Fully recommend for any special trip or just for a relaxing holiday by the beach!"
"We have just returned from staying at Elpida Village.
The setting is lovely and the views are stunning.
The shuttle bus to the beach was very handy.
Our room was great, with very welcome a/c.
Plenty of space for our clothes too.
My only complaint really was that the shower was far too small and I didn't like the shower curtain. I am an average size person and even I found it difficult to shower without flooding the floor. But that was a minor inconvenience.
The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. We loved Marina who was working in the bar in the evening. She was so friendly and entertaining. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the lady who served the pool bar, but she was also very pleasant and friendly.
The food was very good and there was plenty of it. The waiting staff were a little over keen to clear the tables but we soon got used to that.
I highly recommend this as a great hotel for families.
We are a couple but found that it was OK for us.
We also liked the fact that we could have all inclusive which was well worth the price that we paid.
I especially loved the terrace area outside the main party of the hotel where we sat in the evening, with a beautiful tree in the middle and tables and chairs all around just like an old Cretan village square."
