The Red Hills Tours

The main complaints about this property in previous reviews were traffic noise since right on main street. I didn't find that to be a problem at all as the HVAC system had a constant fan option that was great for creating enough white noise it wasn't noticed. (They also supplied ear plugs if needed) The motel was very well maintained for being older and very clean. Room was spacious. they had nice options such as a freezer in the office for cooler packs and towels specifically for cleaning items used on trails rather than having to provide own or mess up the bath towels. Obviously they have listened to guests over the years and responded with nice options. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Also had a travel companion that stayed at another hotel and happened to see my room. Decided right there he was staying at Bowen next time as it was much better maintained. Would stay there again.

Loved out pet-friendly room with a hot tub; very comfortable and spacious. The property was very peaceful and beautiful. Restaurant was quite good. Staff was professional and helpful. I look forward to going back!
