"Stayed for a family function, we had 4 rooms. 1 room showed wear and tear but the other 3 were all clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly, breakfast was okay. Pool area was nice and we enjoyed that the bar was open in the evening so we could gather and catch up. "

"We had a great stay. Home was super clean, price is excellent. Some things had some deferred maintenance (cobwebs on vaulted ceiling, broken back on dock chair, ripped Lily pad, broken dresser with glass panes in bunk room, yards in need of weeding, futon in disrepair, and LOTS of bugs on windows), but is the end of the high season which may explain much of it. Wi-Fi for streaming in main room is spotty, but master bedroom worked perfectly. It's in a super quiet area but near lots. The water was a lovely temperature and has a silty but unweedy bottom. The kids loved swimming in it and loved the Lily pad even with the rip. Sunsets and sunrises were both stunning. I'd come back but my mother (visited with my parents and kids) isn't as gentle a reviewer so we shall see if I convince her."

"What a great property. We enjoyed our stay and had all the amenities we could ever need. The outdoor shower was a 10/10!! A little gem on a quiet lake with the clear waters and sandy bottom that the Chain offers without the crowds and chaos. A great spot and a great host! "

"Check in was VERY simple. And nice touch on the keyless entry code. Was NOT hard to forget!! Kitchen had just about anything you would need. And the table was perfect for our group. We were all able to eat together. I tried to add some photos but I must be doing something wrong!!"
"The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and warm. Simple breakfast was very enjoyable and convenient. We stay here every time we head up to Wautoma to visit family and we never once had an unpleasant experience. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and work hard to make guests comfortable and happy. We’ll be back!"

"Had a great stay!!! Nice and relaxing, kids enjoyed the inside hammock swings, the huge beanbag, and the hot tub. Kitchen was well supplied and the coffee bar was a nice touch. Wish the lake would have been a swimming lake, but we got the kayaks out and made the best of it. Early mornings on the back deck, and late nights playing cards, even got to see a bald eagle fly by. It was nice to get away and unwind."
"Do to its location near the highway, road traffic was apparent early on, but reduce by nightfall. Close to good restaurant options. Staff was very helpful pointing out some possible eating options and which place might be closed by 8pm. Bed was comfortable. Overall, I was pleased with my stay."
"Our family had the most wonderful stay (again!!) at the cottage. The house is super comfortable and impeccably clean. If you need it Caitlin has probably thought of it and has it at the house. The lake is super clear and the gradual walkout is such a plus. Love the sandy bottom. Caitlin is amazing! She’s super responsive if needed but gives you privacy otherwise. You couldn’t ask for a better host. The house is so convenient to Waupaca so you can easily pop over to Little Fat Gretchen’s for breakfast/lunch and shop downtown for lots of wonderful things. One year I hope we’re in town for the numerous activities Waupaca seems to host during the summer. It really doesn’t get better than this. It’s a little slice of heaven and I hope we get the chance to stay here every year for years to come. "
