Au pied d'un hôtel abandonné au milieu d'un désert volcanique se trouvent de nombreuses piscines naturelles où se jettent la houle -quelques fois violente mais impressionnante-. Nous avons choisi une voiture de location appropriée spécialement pour ce lieu. La route est assez difficile d'accès. On se cramponne à son siège de peur d'accrocher les roches nous entourant mais le périple en vaut la chandelle. Une fois garées à cet hôtel, nous prenons le temps de tourner en 360 degrés pour savourer ce désert, ces volcans, l'océan et l'hauteur des vagues. Quelques pêcheurs sont présents ainsi qu'une dame profitant du cadre. Nous sommes descendue de la falaise bien décidée à baigner dans ces piscines vierges. Mais cela était sans compter la présence d'une dizaine de crabes géants ainsi qu'une pieuvre affamée par ceux-ci peuplant les rochers et cette eau
