1. Rhodes Port

Rhodes Port is the main sea entrance to the island and the gateway to many of its attractions. With waterfront restaurants, medieval buildings and its close proximity to the old town, the transit hub is also worthy of exploration.

2. Lindos Beach

Lindos Beach is a great place to spend some time. Here you can relax on golden sands, see a variety of marine life and explore a village crowned by an ancient hilltop fortress. Once a popular celebrity hangout, today Lindos Beach attracts couples, honeymooners, day-trippers and young families.

3. Tsambika Beach

Set between two rocky headlands on the east coast of Rhodes is the scenic Tsambika Beach. Here you can bask in the sunshine, gaze out at the Aegean Sea, try various watersports and sample Greek cuisine at beachfront bars and restaurants. Tsambika Beach takes its name from Tsambika Monastery, which sits on top of a hill at the north end of the beach.

4. Pefkos Beach

Pefkos Beach is an easy-going beach resort that attracts a mix of young families, couples and locals. It is a place to enjoy lazy days on a long sandy expanse, well away from the bustle of the island’s larger towns and resorts. Pefkos Beach is spread around a small bay, flanked by hills and the tall pine trees that give this former fishing village its name. The Greek word “pefko” translates as “pine.”

5. Anthony Quinn Bay

Anthony Quinn Bay is a small, attractive cove where you can enjoy natural beauty above and below the Aegean Sea. The bay takes its name from the Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn, who stared in The Guns of Navarone, a movie that was partly shot at the beach.
