The Roman Theater is one of the most impressive attractions in Amman. The, steeply raked amphitheater features incredible acoustics, an ingenious design and a seating capacity for approximately 6,000 people. It’s easy to be awed by the sheer immensity of the space and the thought of crowds gathering here nearly 2,000 years ago.

The modern Abdoun Bridge is a fascinating feature in the dynamic urban landscape of the ancient Jordanian capital. Despite its relatively short history, the bridge has already become a local icon because of its striking design.

On the highest hill in downtown Amman is the Citadel, an impressive complex of ruins dating back to the Neolithic period. The ruins reveal architectural influences from the Iron Age and the Roman, Byzantine and Umayyad periods.
