"We approached the hotel from the back of the property and it wasn’t very impressive…things got better when we parked in front of the building and much better inside. This is a classic retro feeling old time hotel. Brass keys, old wood, really charming. Check in was great. Carol was so sweet and made sure we knew where to find everything. She had great dinner recommendations and a list of restaurants open at that time. The room itself was wonderful. The bed was heavenly, pillows were perfect with an extra blanket in the foot of the bed that we used when watching tv on the couch. The attention to detail was wonderful. They had a kuerig machine with a ton of options. The bathroom had a package with emery boards, dental floss, makeup remover and q-tips. So thoughtful!!! I loved it and hope to return!"
