  • This property is strictly for the person who loves outdoor adventure...No shopping malls here! No clubs, no putt putt golf. Be sure to buy your groceries before you get here. The only open business in town is the Exxon/7-11 station a mile up the road by the Interstate . I love it!

Pleasant home in quiet RV Park. Host was very kind and responsive to concerns. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking accessories. Great spot to rest after checking out the National Parks around Moab.

Great place near Arches

Super clean and convenient place to stay outside of Moab. Check in and out were easy and would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Everything You Need and Great Location!

We had a great time at this property. Perfectly situated outside of Moab so as not to be caught up in the hustle and bustle but close enough to make it a convenience getting to attractions. Also a peacefully and quiet area with nice trails and local history to soak in. Very pleased with our stay.

Luxury, Pet Friendly Lodgings!

The cabin was so clean and had all the amenities we could ask for! The master bedroom en suite shower was a welcome luxury after a day in the heat and dust.

Clean and comfortable

Like other reviews mentioned, this place is around a 30-40 minute drive to Moab but well worth it if you want a relaxing, quiet, spacious place to have as a home base. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very clean with an awesome front porch to hang out on after a long day exploring. We definitely would stay here again if we come back.

Loved our stay!!

Stayed in Bonanza was amazingly quiet, beautiful location. Only complaint would be the exterior stairs need a railing. Would definitely stay again!! Thank you so much!!

quiet location convenient to the outdoors

Super-clean property with no animal or smoke smell. The updated master bath had a great shower and the kitchen was functional. Though there is a porch, the property is exposed to the sun, especially in the evenings. No crazy neighbors shooting off fireworks on Pie and Beer Day, so that was a major bonus!

More than expected

House was much roomier than expected. Although listing indicated 3 bedrooms the rooms were much larger than expected. Ditto with the two bathrooms. House was well maintained and clean. Great stay!

Return to Moab

Very happy with the accommodations. The facility met my comfort needs very well. There was plenty of parking for my pickup truck and trailer next to the house. As far as the Thompson Springs location, I was visiting both the Moab area (30 miles south) as well as the San Rafael Swell area (an hour south-west) and Thompson Springs was a very good location for both. Except for an occasional train passing through town, there is basically no traffic there at the Ballard RV Park and it is very quiet and peaceful, away from Moab's congestion.

hidden secret

This is a great park. spread out with many options, tent cabins rv access. Our double wide is a home. Air conditioning is great. so comfortable. But wait! turn right out of Park and if no rain I mean NO Rain. the drive into Thompson and for sure Sego canyon was the smoothest canyon roads you can find.

Best Lodging on 12 Day Trip

Just completed a 12 day trip thru CO, AZ, and UT. This lodging was the best of all 7 stops! Nothing super fancy, but exactly what we needed. Very clean! Had everything you needed...and not a bunch of junk you didn't. My wife and i stayed there in our RV in 2022. So now we can recommend their RV park as well as Bonanza cabin. We tried to add additional night, but they were booked solid! That's what happens when you run a class business!
