Location of hotel is excellent , across from the Capitol . Suite was very clean , beautiful bathroom . i was not happy with the living area , walls were painted dark blue and there was no window . i had expected a view of the Capitol grounds but it was like living in a cage . I believe it false advertising because on line it showed a nice , comfortable , light room with a window . I was told the hotel was full because of a convention and I could not change to another room .

We appreciated the space we had in the 2BR condo, and it was convenient to be able to cook some of our meals during our 3-night stay. It could certainly be updated—looked pretty dated. We also loved the pool during the weekday, but the Friday night was chaos with loud, unsupervised kids everywhere. We did encounter a few issues. Three times, staff either entered or tried to enter our unit. The first was someone needing a number off the refrigerator and while they knocked, we did not answer the door—still came in., The second time was a staff member who completely opened our door while we were eating dinner saying something about a plate being needed. He was polite and apologetic, however, still entered without knocking. He was told the u it was unoccupied. The third was housekeeping coming to strip the room even though we had complimentary 12:00 checkout. They arrived at 10:30 and again, tried to open the door but I had it dead bolted since so many others entered the unit in the previous days. We felt pretty rushed to get out. We did not have enough toilet paper and needed to get it from the front desk, although we just took a roll from the many bags of linen and toiletries that are outside of many doors everyday. Space was great, but not sure we will be back due to to constant opening of our door. Unsettling.

Loved the location. Bearing able to walk to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast wasn’t much and the staff in there wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. The hotel overall just needs some updates and upkeep. Starting to look run down, but so was the visitor center.

We routinely stay at this specific hotel when we visit Williamsburg. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and it’s a quiet hotel even when it’s full. It is also at a very convenient location for Busch Gardens and the Outlet mall. The only thing that I ca. mention is that the breakfast is an additional charge and is essentially the same breakfast that is free elsewhere. That’s a drawback. We will be regular customers due to the staff and the upkeep of the hotel!
