Clean hotel but a little dated. View of pyramids from breakfast area. The breakfast is basic but the restaurant offers excellent dinners. Staff was always friendly and willing to help. I would recommend this hotel.

If you are staying in Giza particularly if you are planning to visit the pyramids, this is a great hotel. It feels almost like a family run place as you are made to feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you are provided with a bath robe, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and hairdryer. Saif is the reception staff who welcomes you and assists you with things such as booking taxis etc. You literally are neighbours with the pyramids so meals here as well as being good also provide a fantastic view. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was fabulous!

The host at the rooftop is excellent. The guy (Muhammed) working the late evening front desk shift until the morning is very helpful, speaks good English, and overall honest. The girl working the front desk is a liar very dishonest. My dining bill was 1887 egyptian pounds (I gave the host a tip on the table) and decided on her own to round up my tab. I paid it because she said she had no change. When I paid my taxi to the airport again they had no change so I did not accommodate her scheme. I gave a tip to the taxi driver directly. The only reason I'd advise not to stay here again is because it's 22 minutes away from the new museum and about 25 minutes away from Sphinx. 45 minutes from the Airport with no food options within walking distance. We tried walking to a corner store and restaurant but the side streets were dirt and no one could understand us on how to reach the restaurant. The alleys had been bricked off where the map thought it was a road to pass through.

If you're staying around the Pyramids, the Sequoia has likely the best views available!! Nice, clean rooms, a two-tier rooftop and restaurant, and its location in a quiet enclave secluded from the bustling, hectic streets of Giza make it the perfect oasis to recoup before your next excursion into the wilds of Egypt. But the best perk of the Sequoia is its manager Yousef!! He's a built-in concierge ready to take on any of your travel logistics. Have him arrange your airport transfer, taxi, tour guide, dinner locations/reservations, or even an impromptu rooftop party under the incredible visage of the Pyramids of Giza!! Thanks Yousef for such an incredible visit!!!
