Mercure Petriolo Siena Terme Spa Hotel
Mercure Petriolo Siena Terme Spa Hotel"One other guest we meet called it the hotel from hell, which somes it up properly. A very strange vibe in this hotel a cross between a murder mystery hotel and a soviet area spa. The staff need to learn how to smile and serve it's customers properly, only the breakfast lady was great. Hotel difficult to get to required 10 km detour, wifi available but without internet access!!!! Had to pay 30 euros per person per day to access the pools. The on-site restaurant was horrible and staff useless....
"Staff very welcoming. Property very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Only complaint are the walls between the rooms were thin and I could hear the adjoining rooms. But about 10:30 pm, everything went quiet and slept well. Plenty of parking on property. Great restaurant near by recommended by staff, “Il Grillo Moro”, definitely top notch. Would stay again."
"We truly had an amazing time staying here. the staff was so helpful. The room was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend if you would like to stay in a piece of heaven. We can't wait to visit again."
"We loved it!"
"The place smelled like mold and mildew, the ceiling has leak stains and bathroom had mold. I couldn’t force myself to stay, was afraid I may get sick. Horrible experience! Ended up booking another hotel and left. Luca, the guy at the friend desk wouldn’t even give me the manager’s name."
"Giacomo, co-owner of the property, was so kind to give us some basic education and guidance for Siena which helped us navigate and understand the city better. Parking was plentiful and the open view from the property was beautiful. I was fortunate enough to meet a Swedish lady who told me that this was her third stay at the property. Breakfast was wonderful and very local European-style rather than American. You can enjoy indoors or outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary...
