The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed our time there. The only downside was that when we returned to our villa at night, there were no lights outside the room, and the pool lights were also off. It made it difficult to walk around safely after dark. Other than that, we had a great experience and would recommend this resort."

"I recommend Tuani Lodge for nature lovers and those looking for a cabin-in-the-jungle experience. The road to get to the lodge is very dark, poorly marked, bumpy and uneven so a vehicle with 4-wheel drive and a lot of clearance would be best. We got a small bit of damage from driving in our small SUV. That being said, once you're on the highway it is not far from town and it is a very cool experience feeling so remote and close to nature. This is not the place for you if you are scared of bugs...
